Job summary

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks energetic Outside Sales Representatives to build relationships with contractor customers and grow our business in Ohio and nationwide.

You will sell residential and commercial building materials, use exclusive sales tools, and participate in a generous commission plan with benefits. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; a college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating and managing customer relationships.
• Utilizing sales reports to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns.
• Making cold calls to prospective customers.
• Following leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers.
• Following up with customers and providing solutions to service concerns.
• Providing training to customers on various product lines and services.
• Assisting customers in the credit application process.
• Connecting with customers to ensure past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary.
