Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Salt Lake City region and surrounding areas. This field-based role requires living in the territory and frequent travel (20-30%).

You will drive the Vet BU strategy, achieve clinic-related sales goals, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred), strong communication skills, and veterinary clinic exposure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operations and needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate across Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy in a cross-functional setting.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies based on territory performance.
• Manage expense and sales budget; prepare CRM and expense reports.
