Job summary

Royal Canin USA Inc is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive the Vet BU strategy across the Salt Lake City region and surrounding territories. You will identify clinic opportunities and leverage data to hit account-level goals, collaborating across internal teams to grow clinic access and veterinary recommendations.

The role requires field-based work within the territory, with 20-30% travel and occasional weekends for conferences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30%+.

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan and grow clinics within assigned geography.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives.
Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
Work in cross-functional, fluid environments.
Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
Manage expenses and sales budgets; complete CRM/expense reports timely.
