Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Seattle South / Tacoma, WA region. The role is field-based and requires living within the territory; you will execute Vet BU strategy and achieve sales KPIs by expanding clinic access and leveraging data.

The position demands 2+ years in sales (preferably B2B), veterinary clinic experience, and strong communication skills. Overnight travel 20-30% and a company vehicle are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics in assigned geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives and execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional, fluid environment and adjust strategies quarterly.
