Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-basedSales Representative to cover a defined territory and drive patient-centered sales performance. You will execute brand strategies, manage accounts, and build strong customer relationships across the assigned region.

Applicants should have pharma/healthcare experience, strong communication and relationship skills, and the ability to navigate a matrix organization. Travel within the territory and adherence to AbbVie code of conduct are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor's degree is at least five (5) years of experience in pharmaceutical/health/science industry
• Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets; meet or exceed objectives.
• Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluation to improve sales performance.
• Build trusted customer relationships and solve customer needs with patients at the center of AbbVie's efforts.
• Develop and execute a call plan that achieves metrics and optimizes coverage to key customers.
• Share market intelligence with in-field and brand teams to align strategy with market dynamics.
• Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with health providers and maintain disease state experts.
