Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Field Based Software Sales Representative to join the Genius team in the Baltimore area. You will own the full sales cycle, drive new business, and build strong relationships with business owners while presenting how Genius can improve operations and fuel growth.

You will spend up to 75% of your time in the field, traveling within your territory and leveraging digital engagement to create opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of success in B2B or B2C outside sales with results.
• Strong ability to communicate, present and negotiate in person and virtually.
• Confident building relationships with business owners quickly.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend up to 75% in the field.
• Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by field outreach, digital engagement and local networking.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to revenue generation.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners as a go-to advisor.
• Deliver value-driven presentations showing how Genius enhances operations and growth.
• Shape territory strategy using market insights and strengthen pipeline.

• Identify opportunities to expand solutions and deepen client relationships.
• Spend up to 75% of time in the field to create face-to-face connections.
