Job summary

Verizon is seeking a motivated sales professional to join the State, Local and Education (SLED) Public Sector team. You will prospect, support sales, and resolve customer issues to grow our client base and increase revenue while delivering outstanding service.

You’ll collaborate with the sales team to close opportunities, drive online tool adoption, and guide customers through onboarding and renewal processes, in a fast-paced field-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1+ year of relevant experience as described in the job posting.
• Proven ability to prospect, support sales, and resolve customer issues.
• Experience engaging with customers to identify opportunities and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers while partnering with the sales team to close opportunities.
• Support account strategy with sales and help prepare for quarterly reviews.
• Drive adoption of self-service tools and coordinate onboarding for new customers.
• Identify upsell, cross-sell and migration opportunities to grow the business.
