Job summary

Flow Control Group in Charlotte, NC seeks a results-driven sales engineer to grow relationships with power-generation customers and identify opportunities for pump equipment and services. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop customer solutions and prepare proposals.

The role requires extensive travel, strong technical reading of drawings, and excellent communication and presentation skills to win contracts and manage forecasts using CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• Experience in industrial sales, rotating equipment, pumps, valves, or power generation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications; strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with power generation customers, identifying opportunities for pump equipment, upgrades, and service contracts.
• Provide technical consultation on pump applications for boilers, condensate, cooling, circulating, slurry handling pumps.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and bid responses.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to develop customer solutions.
• Conduct site visits, assess equipment performance, negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Manage sales forecasts and maintain CRM records.
• Attend industry conferences and customer meetings.
