Job summary

Flow Control Group seeks an Engineering Sales Support Specialist to drive basis‑of‑design on projects and support engineering firms with technical expertise. You will select products for engineers, develop new solutions, and keep tools current to enable the sales team to win bids.

The role targets someone with a technical mindset, strong MS Office skills, and experience in engineering or construction industries, delivering exceptional service to customers and protecting product standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Distribution, or experience in engineering sales support, technical sales, or a similar role within engineering, construction, and building materials.
• Familiarity with engineering software, sizing and selection tools, or equivalent technical programs.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and use engineering software tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Product selection for engineering customers based on requests.
• Drive BOD capture per project to establish Cougar products as the standard.
• Support new product development to drive BOD.
• Serve as a technical SME for sales teams on Cougar products.
• Maintain up-to-date engineering tools and resources.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the Cougar Promise.
