Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based sales professional to execute brand strategy and drive performance across a defined territory. You will build strong customer relationships, manage targeted accounts, and place patient outcomes at the center of all efforts while adhering to AbbVie's policies and regulations.

The role emphasizes developing call plans, achieving brand KPIs, and leveraging market insights to optimize access and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least five (5) years of experience in pharmaceutical/health/science industry with three (3) years in sales preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and use of business tools.
• Proven ability to identify customer style/behavior and adapt selling approach accordingly.
• Track record of success in sales with strong presentation skills; able to operate in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in field to drive sales performance and meet KPIs.
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve performance.
• Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships and solve customer needs.
• Design and implement call plans to maximize coverage and opportunities.
• Share market intelligence to align brand strategy across teams.
