Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a field-based sales professional to drive territory brand strategy and achieve sales performance targets.

You will manage key accounts, build strong customer relationships, and execute strategic calls to advance patient-centered solutions within AbbVie’s therapeutic areas. The role requires adapting to customer needs, analyzing market dynamics, and collaborating with district teams to optimize brand strategy and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in pharma/health/science industry preferred; high school diploma/GED required if no degree.
• Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approaches; develops effective sales strategies.
• Leads by example; credible resource with leadership experience in district/region roles.
• English language proficiency in both speaking and writing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and brand KPIs to meet or exceed targets.
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve sales results.
• Proactively serve customer needs and build trusted relationships for win-win agreements.
• Develop and execute call plans to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Share market intelligence with in-field and brand teams to optimize strategy and execution.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and engage disease state experts to maximize brand performance.
