Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in the United States is seeking a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional to execute brand strategies and drive sales performance across assigned territories in New Jersey and surrounding areas.

You will build strong customer relationships, meet KPIs and collaborate with district teams to maximize patient access while upholding AbbVie's code of conduct and all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in health/sciences/pharmacy or related field is preferred.
• At least five years of industry experience with three in pharma/health/science preferred; HS diploma/GED required.
• Proven selling success with strong presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Leads by example and coaches peers to achieve district and regional goals.
• Strong business acumen and ability to adapt selling approaches across matrix teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets and marketing objectives.
• Create pre-call plans with SMART objectives and evaluate post-call results.
• Build trusted customer relationships and address customer needs with win-win solutions.
• Develop call plans to optimize coverage and frequency with key accounts.
• Share market insights and competitive knowledge with brand and sales teams.
