Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Patient Access Liaison in Virginia Beach to support patient access and reimbursement for infused therapies. The PAL will collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, and care sites to ensure timely access and educate stakeholders on coverage pathways.

The role involves educating patients and providers on prior authorization, coding, and billing, while addressing access barriers and navigating payer requirements in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

• Level 5 or Level 6 minimum qualifications as listed in the posting.
• Travel up to 50% including overnight and weekend commitments.
• Experience in patient services and/or access and reimbursement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient access and reimbursement support for infused and specialty therapies.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and providers on coverage and prior authorization requirements.
• Educate physician offices and sites of care on therapy coverage pathways and reimbursement processes.
• Support resolution of access barriers and denied claims with internal teams.
