Krystal Biotech is seeking a Field-Based Patient Access Liaison to educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff on payer access, prior authorization, and insurance processes. You will support sites of care, coordinate access options, and help ensure adherence to prescribed therapies.

The role requires 5+ years in patient services or reimbursement, knowledge of HIPAA and FDA regulations, and willingness to travel 30-50% across California and Arizona.

• BS/BA degree required.

Responsabilités

• Educate patients and office staff about payer access and insurance processes.
• Assist patients with locating sites of care options near their home and home dosing options.
• Navigate office staff to support coverage and access needs.
• Educate on affordability options including copay assistance and patient assistance programs.
• Provide non-medical educational support about starting therapy and ongoing adherence.
• Coordinate next appointments and treatment with patients.
• Develop trusted relationships with patients and caregivers via phone, text, email, virtual or in-person contact.
• Follow planned education and support program to optimize adherence to therapy.
• Educate large centers, community prescribers and sites on billing and coding requirements for product and services.
• Document case progress in Krystal patient CRM/Workflow system.
