Krystal Biotech is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to educate patients and providers on payer access, prior authorization, and cost assistance. This field-based role covers CA, AZ, NV, and other regions, with 30–50% travel to sites of care and offices.

You will work with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams to coordinate access, treatment initiation, and adherence, while navigating HIPAA and FDA requirements in a rare disease setting.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required.
• 5+ years field-based experience in patient services or reimbursement.
• Experience with orphan/rare diseases preferred.
• HIPAA and FDA regulation familiarity.
• Willingness to travel 30–50%.
• Strong teamwork and communication with patients, staff, and partners.

Responsabilités

• Educate patients and staff on payer access and insurance processes.
• Assist patients in finding sites of care and home dosing options.
• Coordinate with office staff to support access needs.
• Educate on affordability options (copay programs, PAP).
• Provide non-medical support and prep for therapy initiation.
• Coordinate next appointment and treatment.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and caregivers via multiple channels.
• Document case progress in CRM/Workflow system.
• Support large centers and sites of care with education and procurement options.
• Other duties as assigned.
