Krystal Bio is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to support payer access, insurance processes, and site-of-care coordination across a national geographic region. This field-based role partners with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to educate on prior authorizations, appeals, and reimbursement.

The PAL will travel 30–50%, build trusted relationships, navigate SOC staff, and collaborate with specialty pharmacy and distributors to optimize adherence and access to therapy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in patient services, field reimbursement, biopharma sales or account management.
• Experience directly educating patients/families on access.
• Orphan/rare disease patient experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and FDA regulations.
• Willingness to travel 30–50%
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with internal partners.

Responsabilités

• Educate patients and office staff about payer access and insurance processes, including authorization requirements.
• Assist patients and staff in finding care sites closer to home or home dosing options.
• Navigate office/site staff to identify personnel supporting coverage and access needs.
• Educate on affordability options including copay assistance and PAPs.
• Provide non-medical educational support for initiating therapy and adherence.
