Job summary

WM is seeking an Operations Leader to oversee onboarding, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management for all drivers and helpers. You will build positive relationships with front-line staff and spend most of the day in the field alongside the team.

The role emphasizes coaching conversations, safety as a priority, and ongoing collaboration with field personnel to drive continuous improvement. Expect early start times and active customer site engagement.

Qualifications

• Onboarding, developing, coaching, mentoring, and performance management of drivers and helpers.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with front-line employees.
• Spends the majority of the day in the field with frontline employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new frontline employees have tools, instruction, and feedback for successful daily duties.
• Meet with new frontline employees daily for onboarding support.
• Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees.
• Review best practices to enhance daily performance.
• Support frontline employee career goals and progression.
• Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with frontline employees.
