Job summary

Verizon is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive business solutions for customers in the Illinois region. You will identify leads, grow new business, and expand existing accounts while promoting Verizon’s Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.

The role requires a self-motivated, communicative individual who can manage a mobile, field-based territory with up to 50% travel and a commission-based compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four+ years of relevant outside sales experience.
• Experience in prospecting and negotiation.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a mobile, field-based sales role.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and qualify leads within territory to drive additional sales opportunities.
• Grow new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
• Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base.
• Educate customers about Verizon solutions and coordinate with partners.
