Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. is seeking a high-performing AV Sales Professional to join the GC Pro sales team, selling business-to-business audio visual solutions to a broad scope of customers.

The GC Pro Account Manager cultivates new business opportunities and strengthens existing relationships by assessing and promoting professional‑level AV products and services to solve client business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of relevant work experience selling AV integration products/services.
• 3 years of outside sales experience in Audio/Visual arena with proven targets.

Responsibilities

• Create sales, orders, contracts for services.
• Travel to meet clients and generate new business (≈50% field time).
• Achieve sales targets and grow the territory.
• Develop sales plans, follow up on leads to hit targets.
• Business development via client site visits, cold calls, internet, and other channels.
• Continuously learn about products to best meet client needs.
• Identify solutions and opportunities for clients with GCPro resources.
• Collaborate with GCPro locations and centers to serve clients.
• Create reporting of activities (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
