Job summary

GWS Tool Group is seeking an Applications Specialist to manage accounts, educate customers on Solid Round and Insert Cutting Tools, and generate new opportunities. The role requires understanding customer needs in metalworking and effectively communicating product capabilities back to internal teams.

You will travel within the Western Michigan Territory to meet customers, attend trade shows, and provide detailed product information.

Qualifications

• Strong manufacturing background with Milling, Turning, Grooving knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in tool usage and processes.
• Experience in account management and developing new customers is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and review customer applications and product requirements to identify opportunities.
• Plan and conduct daily sales presentations with customers in person.
• Liaise between customers and the company on pricing, service and new product launches.
• Develop and expand prospect accounts through distributor partnerships.
• Keep customers updated on product changes and enhancements.
