Job summary

GWS Tool Group is seeking an Application Specialist for solid round and insert cutting tools. You will manage accounts, educate customers and distributors, and drive new opportunities. Strong collaboration with sales and support teams is essential to relay customer needs and product capabilities.

You will travel within the Eastern Michigan Territory, build relationships, and present solutions that optimize tooling applications and productivity for metalworking customers.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years strong manufacturing background with Milling/Turning/Grooving.
• Knowledgeable in tooling and manufacturing process.
• Ability to assist customers with processing parts and correct tool applications.
• Account management for current customers; ability to develop new ones.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and meet customers to review applications and product requirements.
• Plan and conduct sales presentations with customers daily.
• Liaise between customers and the company on pricing, service, and product launches.
• Generate and develop prospect accounts to increase revenue with distributors.
• Update customers on product modifications and enhancements.
• Attend conferences and trade shows; use sales tools for effectiveness.
