Job summary

GWS Tool Group in Michigan is seeking an Applications Specialist for Solid Round and Insert Cutting Tools within the Sales team. You will manage accounts, generate new opportunities, and educate customers on product capabilities.

The role requires travel, strong milling/turning experience, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and distributors. You will collaborate with inside sales, prepare quotes, and ensure pricing and product launches align with customer

Qualifications

1-3 years manufacturing background with milling/turning experience.
Ability to assist customers with proper speeds and feeds.
Account management experience and new customer development is ideal.
Degree in sales and marketing is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Schedule appointments and meet customers to review applications and product requirements.
Plan and conduct sales presentations with customers on a daily basis.
Liaise between company and customers for pricing, service, and product launches.
Generate and develop prospect accounts to increase revenue with distributors.
Update customers on product modifications and new tools.
Attend conferences and trade shows to promote products.
