Job summary
Sartorius in the United States seeks an experienced Field Applications Specialist to support downstream processing solutions and customer evaluations. You will translate process requirements into product recommendations, run trials, train customers, and help drive adoption of chromatography, centrifugation, and related systems.
Travel up to 50% is required; a life sciences degree is preferred, with 3+ years in technical or application support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in application or technical support within downstream processing environments.
- Experience with biologics manufacturing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support evaluations, trials, and training to drive adoption of downstream systems.
- Translate process requirements into product and workflow recommendations.
- Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions across teams.
- Capture customer feedback and contribute to portfolio enhancements.
- Provide monthly territory activity reports to management.
- Collaborate with Sales, Quality, and Product Management teams.
