Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Applications Specialist for Chrom/TFF in a remote role, covering the Central Region and Canada. The role focuses on applying downstream processing technologies, troubleshooting, and delivering customer-oriented solutions while collaborating across Sales, Quality, and Product Management.

Travel >50% may be required. The ideal candidate has a Life Sciences degree with 3+ years in downstream process development or MSAT, plus hands-on demo and training

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 3+ years in application support, field applications, or MSAT environments.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing and cell/gene therapy exposure is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on demo/training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate process requirements into product and workflow recommendations for downstream systems.
• Design, coordinate, and document customer-specific evaluations and onboarding activities.
• Troubleshoot inquiries and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Provide technical insights and competitive positioning during opportunity development.
• Capture feedback and share recommendations for portfolio enhancement.
• Train colleagues and customers on technologies and processes and support start-ups.
