Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to support downstream processing technologies across the Northeast region in a remote role. You will act as a trusted technical partner, providing application expertise, trials, and training to accelerate adoption of Sartorius downstream systems.

You will troubleshoot, coordinate corrective actions, and train customers while collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in application support or downstream process development.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing; cell and gene therapy exposure is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluations, trials, and training by designing evaluation plans and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide technical insights to improve solution fit during opportunity development.
• Capture feedback and share recommendations for portfolio enhancements.
• Train customers and support start-up activities.
