Sartorius is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to support downstream processing technologies in the Northeast region (MA/NY/CT). The ideal candidate will reside near a major airport and have 3+ years in application support or related roles, plus a life sciences degree.

You will run evaluations, trials, trainings, and troubleshooting, collaborating with Sales and Quality, with travel over 50% and a salary range of $90,000–$116,530 plus incentive plan and car allowance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in application support, technical support, field applications, laboratory operations, process development, or other customer-facing roles.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing; exposure to cell and gene therapy applications is an advantage.
• 1+ years of in-depth knowledge of biologics process development and scale-up for monoclonal antibodies; experience with additional modalities is beneficial.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and application-related challenges in customer environments.
• Hands-on capability to perform demonstrations, trials, evaluations, and customer training while documenting findings, outcomes, and technical recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Product Management, Quality, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Translate process requirements into product/workflow recommendations to accelerate adoption of downstream systems.
• Design, coordinate, and document customer evaluation plans, onboarding activities, and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions to protect customer productivity.
• Provide technical insights to support opportunity development and portfolio fit.
• Capture customer feedback and competitive intelligence to support portfolio enhancements.
• Support training and development of Field Application Specialists and Sales staff.
• Train customers on new technologies and participate in startup activities.
• Provide monthly territory activity reports to management.
