Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Applications Specialist (Chrom/TFF) to support downstream processing technologies across the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast region. This remote role partners with customers and internal teams to deliver application expertise, trials, and training, driving adoption of chromatography and TFF systems and related consumables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in application support, technical support, field applications, lab operations, or customer-facing roles in downstream processing.
• Experience in biologics manufacturing; exposure to cell and gene therapy is a plus.
• 1+ years in-depth knowledge of biologics process development and scale-up for monoclonal antibodies.
• Ability to troubleshoot in customer environments; hands-on demonstrations and training.

Responsabilités

• Translate process requirements into product and workflow recommendations for downstream processing technologies.
• Design, coordinate, and document evaluation plans and customer-specific trials.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide application expertise throughout opportunity development with technical insights.
• Capture feedback and competitive intelligence to support portfolio enhancements.
• Train other Field Application Specialists and Sales team on assigned technologies.
• Support start-up activities and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Assist with quality investigations and complaint resolution.
