Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support cabinet efficiency products in Michigan and Indiana. You will work closely with regional sales teams, deliver hands-on demonstrations, and provide technical expertise to grow sales and market share.

The role requires independent work from a home office, strong communication skills, and travel readiness to cover territory. The position emphasizes technical depth and customer collaboration to drive solutions.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%+ of the time for territory coverage.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency portfolio at customer accounts.
• Act as local technical representative for cabinet efficiency products and support power-related technical matters.
• Develop sales tools, collateral and drive campaigns with local sales teams.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and provide required reports to RSM.
• Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations of Phoenix Contact Cabinet Efficiency products.
