Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide technical, hands-on expertise to support opportunities for our cabinet efficiency portfolio within industrial automation and electronics.

The FAE will collaborate with regional sales teams, conduct hands-on demonstrations, develop sales tools, and act as the voice of the customer to drive market penetration across Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.

Qualifications

Technical discipline preferred and/or equivalent industry experience.
2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
Ability to work independently from home office and communicate effectively with colleagues with limited supervision.
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

Increase annual sales revenue across the cabinet efficiency portfolio at customer accounts.
Collaborate with local Phoenix Contact sales team on joint activities and plans.
Act as the local technical representative for product questions and power-related matters.
Develop sales tools, collateral, and drive campaigns.
Provide voice of the customer insights for product expansion and new focus industries.
Meet or exceed territory sales quotas as directed.
Maintain CRM with accurate client data and reporting.
