Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer focused on Cabinet Efficiency to support sales activities across the Arizona region and neighboring territories. You will provide hands-on technical expertise, deliver product demonstrations, and collaborate with regional sales teams to expand market share for cabinet efficiency solutions.

Qualifications

2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
Technical discipline preferred and/or equivalent industry experience.
Ability to work independently from home office with limited supervision.
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency portfolio at customer accounts.
Collaborate with local Phoenix Contact sales team utilizing joint sales activities, trainings, and mutual action plans.
Act as the local technical representative for the products and support the sales team in power-related technical matters.
Develop regional marketing tools, collateral and drive campaigns.
Serve as the voice of the customer providing insight for expansion of product lines or new focus industries.
Drive value-added cabinet efficiency solutions.
Meet/exceed territory sales quotas as established by the RSM and VP Field Sales.
Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client information and use CRM for reporting.
