Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support cabinet efficiency products in Michigan and Indiana. This hybrid role involves technical demonstrations, sales support, and close collaboration with regional teams to drive growth across printers, marking materials, tools, and accessories.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automation sales or related marketing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently from a home office while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office and communicate effectively with colleagues with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency products at customer accounts.
• Work with local Phoenix Contact sales team using joint sales activities and trainings.
• Act as local technical representative for product and support sales on power-related matters.
• Develop sales tools, collateral and drive campaigns as regional marketing specialist.
• Provide voice of the customer to expand product lines or focus industries.
• Meet/exceed territory sales quotas as established by leadership.
• Maintain and update CRM with accurate client information and use it for reporting.
