Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to provide technical, hands-on support for Cabinet Efficiency products across the industrial automation market. You will partner with regional sales teams to drive growth, deliver demonstrations, and develop tools and campaigns that win opportunities.

The role requires travel (50%+), independent work from a home office, strong communication skills, and a consultative approach to customers.

Qualifications

2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
Ability to work independently from home office and communicate effectively with colleagues with limited supervision.
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

Increase annual sales revenue across all cabinet efficiency products at customer accounts.
Collaborate with local Phoenix Contact sales team on joint activities and mutual action plans.
Act as local technical representative for cabinet efficiency products and support sales on technical matters.
Develop sales tools, collateral and drive campaigns.
Serve as the voice of the customer for product line expansion and new focus industries.
Meet or exceed territory sales quotas as set by leadership.
Maintain CRM data and use sales tools to improve productivity.
