Job summary

Phoenix Contact in the United States is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical expertise to support cabinet efficiency products across the industrial automation portfolio. You will collaborate with regional sales teams and apply a consultative approach to grow market penetration.

The territory includes CO, WY, UT, NM, and AZ; travel for demonstrations, trainings, and joint sales activities is expected.

Qualifications

Requires a four-year college degree and technical discipline preferred or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 2 years sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
Ability to work independently from home office and communicate effectively with colleagues with limited supervision.
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency products at customer accounts.
Coordinate with local Phoenix Contact sales team on joint sales activities, trainings, and mutual action plans.
Act as the local technical representative for the products and support the sales team in power-related technical matters.
Develop and deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of Phoenix Contact Cabinet Efficiency products and technology.
Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client information and provide reports to RSM.
