Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for cabinet efficiency products across Colorado and the surrounding Southwest. You will work with regional sales teams, perform demonstrations, and help expand market penetration through consultative customer engagements.

The role requires travel within the territory and independent work from a home office, leveraging strong communication and presentation skills to build relationships and drive sales

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree.
• Technical discipline preferred and/or equivalent industry experience.
• 2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office and communicate effectively with colleagues with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency products at customer accounts.
• Coordinate with local Phoenix Contact sales team for joint activities and trainings.
• Act as local technical representative for cabinet efficiency products and support sales in power-related matters.
• Develop regional marketing tools, collateral and campaigns.
• Provide customer insights for expansion of product lines or new focus industries.
• Drive value-added cabinet efficiency solutions and meet territory quotas.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and use it for reporting.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
