Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical expertise across cabinet efficiency and marking portfolios, supporting regional sales opportunities and expanding market penetration in the Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa territory.

The FAE will collaborate with sales teams, act as the local technical representative, deliver demonstrations, develop sales tools, and contribute to account growth while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical discipline preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• 2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office and communicate effectively with colleagues with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency portfolio at customer accounts.
• Collaborate with local Phoenix Contact sales team on joint activities and campaigns.
• Act as the local technical representative for the focused products and support power-related technical matters.
• Develop and drive sales tools, collateral, and campaigns.
• Serve as the voice of the customer to inform product line expansions.
• Meet/exceed territory sales quotas as established by sales leadership.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and utilization for reporting and tracking.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
