Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for marking and installation portfolios in industrial automation.

The Field Application Engineer will collaborate with regional sales managers, strategic account managers, sales engineers, account development specialists, channel, and field application engineering teams to expand market penetration and cabinet efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree with technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum two years of sales or marketing experience in automation and industrial control.
• Ability to work independently from a home office with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales revenue across the cabinet efficiency portfolio at customer accounts.
• Collaborate with local Phoenix Contact sales teams on joint activities and trainings.
• Serve as local technical representative for the product line and support sales on power-related topics.
• Develop sales tools and campaigns as regional marketing specialist.
• Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to enable growth.
• Maintain CRM accuracy and use CRM for reporting.
