Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Field Account Representative for our Public Sector division to manage a portfolio of MRO customers in the North Austin to Temple, TX area. The role emphasizes account retention, new business development, and achieving yearly sales goals while traveling regularly in the territory.

You will operate with a base salary plus a monthly sales incentive, and receive a company laptop/tablet, cell phone, and monthly expense reimbursement. A valid MVR will be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• Knowledge of hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial and HVAC product lines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Experience with consultative/solution selling.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of an organization.
• Manages sales volume with existing customers, while proactively prospecting and acquiring new customers.
• Plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
• Shares market insights and competitor information across channels to support sales strategies.
• Attends meetings and represents the organization in regional or national activities as needed.
