Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Field-based Patient Access & Reimbursement Leader to enhance patient journey management, improve access through payer policy navigation, and coordinate cross-functional account plans. The role involves travel and remote/hybrid work to support cardiology or rare disease segments.

The leader will guide on coverage barriers, educate on reimbursement pathways, and collaborate with internal teams to align access initiatives and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pharmaceutical or related customer-facing roles.
• 3-5 years of experience in Specialty Pharma with reimbursement and access expertise.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for consented patients, address coverage and affordability barriers, coordinate care, and ensure therapy progression.
• Act as reimbursement expert advising on payer policies, prior authorizations, coding, and resolving access challenges.
• Deliver education on reimbursement pathways.
• Develop and implement account strategies to improve access.
• Engage with payers and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align access initiatives.
• Provide market insights to internal teams and support strategic planning.
