Job summary

UCB is seeking a Field Access Specialist in Austin, TX to support patient access to prescribed UCB medicines. You will educate providers to navigate payer barriers, ensuring timely access across local, regional, and national payer policies, including HUB and SP partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration with regional teams, SPs, and payers, with a hybrid work model and a strong focus on patient care across Dermatology-related indications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in Market Access-related positions or related fields.
• 4 years of experience in Coverage/Access or reimbursement or account management.
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License and no more than 3 moving violations in past 2 years.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Support patient access to UCB medications by engaging withHealthcare providers to provide education to navigate payer barriers.
• Explain payer policies and facilitate access for patients across sites of care.
• Collaborate with HUB case managers to ensure timely authorizations, appeals, and shipments.
• Coordinate with SP NAE and external SP account managers to support patient care.
• Communicate with Regional and District Sales Leads and Clinical Account Specialists to keep offices supported.
• Lead field-based initiatives when payer changes affect local, regional, or national markets.

Education

Bachelor's Degree; 8+ years of Market Access experience; 4 years of Coverage/Access or related experience; US Driver's License with ≤3 moving violations in 2 years
