Job summary

UCB in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Field Access Specialist to join the Market Access & Reimbursement team. You will engage with Healthcare providers to navigate payer barriers and educate on access to UCB medicines, bridging clinical decisions and patient treatment initiation in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

As a key field-based role, you will coordinate with HUB, SP, and payer teams to ensure timely authorizations and patient access, while educating accounts on evolving payer

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or related Market Access roles.
• 4 years of Coverage/Access or reimbursement experience.
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License and with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• Must reside within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Support payer education to navigate barriers for UCB medicines.
• Engage with providers to improve patient access.
• Monitor cases and coordinate with HUB, SP, and partners.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Leads and Clinical Account Specialists to ensure access.
• Lead field-based initiatives when payer changes affect local, regional, or national markets.
• Educate accounts on payer policies and changes to ensure patients are cared for.
