Job summary

UCB is seeking a Field Access Specialist to support timely patient access to prescribed UCB medicines in the New York area. You will educate healthcare providers to navigate payer barriers, bridging clinical decision and treatment initiation.

The role interfaces with dermatology accounts, HUB services, and SP partners to ensure authorizations, appeals, and shipments align with expectations. Hybrid work with 40% in-office time is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or related fields such as Market Access, Sales, or Medical Affairs.
• 4 years of experience in Coverage/Access, Reimbursement, or Account Management in healthcare or payer environments.
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License with no more than 3 moving violations in 2 years.
• Must reside within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Support dermatologist accounts with payer education and access navigation.
• Monitor data dashboards and intervene in escalations to protect patient access.
• Coordinate with HUB case managers to ensure access, authorization, appeals, and shipments meet requirements.
• Educate and support internal SP accounts and external SP account managers to ensure patient access.
