Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an OSP Field Engineer to validate fiber network designs on site, documenting facilities and measuring critical parameters. The role supports engineering teams with precise field notes, photos, and GIS-informed layouts across aerial, buried, and underground fiber installations.

The candidate will have 3+ years in telecom construction, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed. Pearce offers comprehensive benefits and a company vehicle for field work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fiber‑optic/telecommunications/telecom construction.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, photograph, and document field facilities and outside plant infrastructure.
• Capture measurements of attachment heights, spans, and distances for OSP layouts.
• Record bonding, grounding, and anchor information.
• Deliver detailed field notes and photographs to engineering team.
• Read GIS maps and layout drawings to inform fiber placement and routing.
