Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an OSP Field Engineer to collect detailed telecom field data and validate fiber network layouts on site. You will document facilities, measurements, and ownership while supporting engineers with clear field notes and imagery.

The role requires 3+ years in telecom construction, GIS knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Extensive travel, outdoor work, and hands-on field activities are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the fiber-optic/telecommunications/construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret as-built prints and identify conflicts.
• Familiar with GIS (ESRI) and shapefile functionality.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, photograph, document details of required facilities on site.
• Measure attachment heights, span distances, and related layouts.
• Identify power/communication facilities and ownership on poles.
• Record bonding, grounding, and anchor information.
• Provide field notes and photos to the engineering team.
