Job summary

Socket Telecom LLC is seeking a Field Technician II to deliver expert onsite installation services for residential customers across Missouri markets. You will install and configure customer equipment, ensure a high-quality customer experience, and diagnose connectivity issues while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires travel and comfort working in varied outdoor conditions, including underground and aerial environments, with lifting up to 70 lbs and bucket truck

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in telecommunications, installation, construction, and utility work.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent installations and repairs for residential and business internet and phone services.
• Install and configure customer equipment, including routers, modems, and Wi-Fi gateways.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by being professional, friendly, and knowledgeable during all service visits.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and service issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Install, terminate, and test network cabling, adhering to all relevant codes and standards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of service activities.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment, including ladders and bucket trucks, in accordance with all safety protocols and DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and represent Socket with professionalism in the field.
