Job summary

Socket is seeking a Field Technician II to deliver expert onsite installation services for residential customers across Missouri. You will install and configure customer equipment, diagnose connectivity issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience while traveling to service areas and working in varied conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Able to operate bucket truck and climb ladders.
• Must lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent installations and repairs for residential and business internet and phone services.
• Install and configure customer equipment, including routers, modems, and Wi-Fi gateways.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism on service visits.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and service issues accurately and efficiently.
• Install, terminate, and test network cabling per codes and standards.
• Complete accurate documentation of service activities.
• Safely operate vehicles and equipment per safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain a professional field presence and clean driving record.
