Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric services in patients' homes or daytime facilities in Texas. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating feeding, swallowing, language, and related disorders for children aged 0–21, with at least two visits weekly per physician orders.

Responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating families, interpreting diagnostic data, and documenting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• Experience in pediatrics required; home health preferred.
• Feeding experience required; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, 2+ times per week according to physician orders.
• Define and document patients' speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate testing tools.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals, advise and instruct on speech therapy modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet therapy goals and educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and materials.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.

• Define patients'degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
