Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home services for children aged 0-21, with a focus on feeding therapy. This clinician-owned practice offers mentoring, career support, and a patient-centered approach.

Requirements include a Master's in SLP, CCC-SLP, Texas license, pediatric/home health experience, feeding experience, and Spanish a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and advise, consult, and instruct in therapy modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training and materials.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with substantial experience.

• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
