Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric therapy in patients' homes and daytime facilities. You will assess and treat children up to 21 years, 2+ visits per week, following physician orders.

The role requires a Master's in SLP, Texas licensure, CCC-SLP fellowship, and pediatric experience, with home health and feeding experience strongly preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP clinical fellowship completed (Clinical Fellowship year).
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Feeding experience is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21 years, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and advise on speech therapy modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients via training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.

• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
