North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Richardson, TX seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver compassionate pediatric therapy in home and clinic settings. You will work with children aged 0–21, conduct evaluations, and develop individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification required or eligible for CF year completion.
• Active Texas licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, 0–21 years old, 2+ times per week.
• Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, voice, feeding, and related disorders.
• Interpret data and write diagnostic reports, plan goals with the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate to set patient goals and educate staff, caregivers through training materials.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows or assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Feeding experience
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
