Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver pediatric therapy in home or clinic settings. The role emphasizes individualized care plans for children aged 0–21, with 2+ visits weekly per physician orders.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in SLP, be CCC-SLP or CFY-eligible, hold Texas licensure, and bring pediatric/home-health experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus and motivation to mentor others is valued.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification or completion of CFY/year preferred.
• Texas license to practice SLP required, pediatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy to patients 0–21 in home or daytime facility 2+ times per week.
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, feeding, and related disorders.
• Prepare diagnostic reports and collaborate with multidisciplinary team on goals.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Feeding experience
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
